Panda is the most graphic marble in the collection: a brilliant white ground crossed by broad, confident bands of black that sweep diagonally across the slab, softening into grey feathering at their edges. There is no half measure to it, and that is the point, so it is used as the single statement in a room otherwise kept quiet, most often bookmatched across a kitchen backsplash, a waterfall island, a fireplace or a feature wall. It sits perfectly with matte black joinery, dark timber and pale plaster, and needs very little else around it. The polish deepens the black, brightens the white and gives the surface a hard, graphic clarity that suits vertical statement surfaces best. Every slab is different, and as a natural marble it should be sealed and cared for.
