Blonde Oak takes the palest cut of European oak and sets it in porcelain. Long 9 x 72 inch planks carry a soft, continuous grain with the gentle knots and colour drift of the real board, so no two pieces read the same. The matte, lightly brushed surface diffuses light rather than reflecting it, which keeps large floors calm and lets furniture and textiles take the lead. Rectified edges allow tight joints for a near-seamless run, and the porcelain body stands up to water, wear and sun, so the look of a Scandinavian floor travels from living room to bathroom to terrace without a change of material.
