Polished Onyx Style
This is the palest expression of onyx in the collection: a pearl-white ground crossed by a fine web of amber and tan threads, opening into crystalline pools with the occasional warm russet patch, the pattern closer to cracked ice than to conventional veining. It is bright without being cold, which makes it unusually easy to build a room around, and it holds its character over large runs such as a full kitchen in island and worktop, a bathroom wall and vanity, or a floor. Polished, the crystalline areas catch the light and give the surface a depth that a matte finish would flatten, and it is at its most striking backlit or under grazing light. It pairs naturally with pale grey, warm oak and brushed brass. As a porcelain surface it is hard-wearing, non-porous and needs no sealing.
